I have passed my 10th board exams in SSC board. I want to pursue my career in Commerce. I am extremely confused whether I should go for ISC board or HSC board. Which board is preferrable for me?

Either of the two board is good for you, you can opt for either of the two whichever you feel comfortable in studying. There is no much difference between the two boards, it only matters as to how much labor you put into it. However, it is preferable for you to opt for HSC board as you have completed your 10th from SSC board. Plunging to ISC now can effect your studies as the format of education is very much different in both the boards.

If you have completed your 10th from SSC board, then I would ask you to opt for HSC board as the pattern of education is same, but if you wish to opt for ISC board, you can very well go for it, provided you should be able to catch up with the syllabus and the education pattern at the earliest.

ISC stands for Indian School Certificate. The board examination is conducted by ISCE. ISCE board will be better for you to appear for board exams.

Procedure for enrollment:

You need to get admission in 10+1 in any ISCE affiliated school in your desired stream which must be commerce if you want to make career in this stream.

Some of the best courses after 10+2 will be Chartered Accountancy, ICWA, Company Secretary course etc.

My daughter is in icsce grade 9 now. She is more interested in economics psychology and humanities she is least interested in maths and sciences. She has currently opted for economics instead of sciences in optional. I would like to know that which board would be beneficial to her after grade 10 icsce. Is it HSC or ISC ?
