i want to do m. Sc. maths but i m physics graduate. For B. Sc II maths, statistics and physics was my subject and now i want to do M. Sc. Maths External. May I?

You are eligible to join M.Sc in maths after B.Sc in physics. Science graduates having studied mathematics as a subject can apply for M.Sc (Mathematics). Most of the Universities consider candidates with a minimum of 50% marks for admission. Entrance test is conducted for admission. The course can be pursued from institutes such as Chennai mathematical institute or IISc.

Eligibilty criteria is :BSc Physics (as main wherever applicable), Mathematics and any other subject.

So Maths is one your acadamic subject.
