is there any negative mark for unanswered questions in May MAT ? If it is then please let me know

MAT : Management Aptitude test is the all india level entrance test for Management course aspirants

this exam is conducted by all india management aptitude testing service(AIMATS)

This entrance is recognized by govt of India and also considered as entrance for most of the management institutes across the country

Taking MAT is necessary for Post Graduate Diploma for Management (PGDM)
and also PGDPMT

This entrance exam uses the most sophisticated technology in its entrance exams

The Individuals rank cards are issued for all its applicants

The examination centers are present all over the country

there are total 5 sections of questions like Comprehension ,mathematical skills
data analysis ,intellegence skills and India and global environment section

For all these areas there are collectively 200 questions and a time limit of 150 marks is set.

Each correct answer get you 1 mark and each incorrect answer may have or may not have negative marks as they are not specified in the question papers

This is all about the details about MAT exam

No, there is no negative marking for unanswered question , you can answer those question which you know very well and no negative marking for not attempting other question.

MAT EXAM PATTERN



-> Negative marking is there in MAT exam, 1/4th of mark will be reduced for every wrong answer.

-> Sometimes unanswered questions will also be given negative marking but you have to check this when you start the exam in the front page for notification because it's not sure.

-> The exam consists of 200 questions which is for 150 minutes.

-> Try to manage the time well and answer all the questions.

-> It consists of 5 different sections with 40 questions each, the sections are as follows...

-> Reading Comprehension

-> Data Interpretation

-> Quantitative

-> Reasoning

well since you are scared that if you won't be able to answer a question then you might loose marks..............isn't it?????????
but relaxxxxx....
there is no such negative marking for unattempted questions.........

The duration of the test is 2 hours 30 minutes. There are 200 questions.There will be Negative Marking for wrong answers.
