Sir/Mam,

I am computer science 8th semester student and my aggreegate percentage is 49.

Having any government job for me?

You must not worry about government job just because of having average marks in graduation degree because there are so many talented young graduates who have less than 50% marks in graduation and working in various top level government departments due to their hard work and laboriousness to prepare for a government recruitment examination and qualify all the stages and you also have the ability and you can do it better than anybody else because there are many jobs available in India for candidates passed in graduation and having minimum 40% marks so that I have listed some of those jobs below you can apply for, after completion of your degree.

01. Bank PO and Clerk jobs on the basis of graduation and these jobs do not requires any type of fix percentage marks in graduate degree to apply so you are eligible to apply but your age should be between 20-28 years for clerks and 20-30 years for PO post.

02. Insurance Field AAO and Assistant recruitment : candidate should have passed bachelor's degree for AAO post and minimum 12th for the post of Assistant in national level government insurance companies such as - NICL, Oriental Insurance, LIC, UIIC etc.

03. Indian Railways Department Assistant Station Master job : This recruitment is often conducted not as regular as Banking and other jobs but you are eligible without having higher marks in graduation degree.

04. SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination for top level Group B and C posts in Government of India departments and you can apply for this job on your graduation basis. Age should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years.

05. SSC Sub Inspector Examination and State Police Sub Inspector exam :

Any graduate is eligible to apply for these jobs but age of the candidate should be between 20-25 years for SSC SI and 18-30 years for state level SI examination.

06. UPSC Combined Defense Service Examination, Indian Civil Service Examination.

07. SSC Combined Higher Secondary level exam for the post of DEO and LDC under Central Government of India.

08. State Service Examination of your state government for various DSP, Deputy Collector, Tehsieldar, SDM and other posts.

The only way to get a government job is that your preparation status that what and how much you prepare and after preparation how much you practice only for one exam and if you are serious and give about 6 hours daily with pure dedication then you may qualify any exam mentioned above so buy some good books and if possible then take help from any good coaching center so they will guide you better.

Nothing to worry about your percentage in Graduation . There are many Government jobs for the candidates who are passed in graduation . You can apply for those.

~ You can apply for the Ibps bank clerk exam .
There is no cutoff percentage for the exam . The candidates who have passed in graduation can also apply for the exam .

Selection process is ,

> preliminary exam
> main exam
> interview



~ You can apply for the Civil services exam (Ias , Ips , etc.)
For this exam , there is no cutoff percentage.


The exam will conduct by Upsc.

For general category candidates , maximum number of attempts is 4
For OBC Category candidates , maximum number of attempts is 7
There is no restriction in number of attempts for the SC , ST Category candidates

I m study TDC 5th sem (psc) major, I was passed HS 2014 my HS parentages 66% , my femaly member very poverty, because I m not to be completed higher education and my father died 3 years ago, if any gov job I m work or Assam any located, I m Proshenjit

Sir please answer me that if I have 48% marks in graduation 45% marks in intermediate and 50% marks in matriculation den any job for me or not??

Don't worry, there are lots of government jobs for you. Lots of government jobs do not need any percentage cut off.

You can join banking sector through IBPS clerk bank exams,there is no percentage cut off in graduation.

There are two steps in this exam- preliminary written exam computer based,100 marks.
Main exam-200 marks

You can can give civil services exam(IAS,IPS etc). This exam is conducted by union public service commission.

If any student get F in chemistry in HS board exam(westbengal board)with 66.4%
Chemistry is 4th subject....then he do engineering in electrical with 7.25 cgpa...

I recently got my result and I scored 49% in last semester ( third year) and along with that it's written FAILED. On the other hand in second year I just scored 42% and it's written passed. Will I be able to get degree, over here does it seems discrepancy .?

Sir, I am from assam and I got 54%in HSLC, 71.8% in H.S and..i am now in B.A 3rd semester(age-21)..but I got 6.0 in 1 and 2nd semester..is my percentage Ok?or need to improve? I need a best government job for my life..please my dear sir give some suggestion to me..

Don't worry, there are a lot of govt exams didn't ask for a minimum academic percentage. If you need any query go through official notification of each exam.

Why the Govt dont look into the number of attempts in Graduation rather than giving importance to percentages?
Multiple attempts are more prone to get good percentages and without backlogs lead to less percentages? Is there any specific G.O. For this?
