Where can i get the SBI PO entrance exam applications

Last date of online applications registration: June 09, 2011
Date of Written Exam: July 24, 2011
Qualification:
1. He/she must have graduate from any recognized university.
2. Working knowledge in computers is required.
Age: 21 to 30yrs
Application fees: Fees of Rs.500 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (SC/ST) should be paid at any State Bank of India (SBI) before June 09, 2011.
How to apply: The details of payment & other personal details must be filled in the application form with all the personal details in application & submit online. The SBI application form can be fill the online by visiting the bank website- http://www.statebankofindia.com/user.htm

Candidates are required to download from Bank’s website www.sbi.co.in /
www.statebankofindia.com / www.timesjobs.com the CASH VOUCHER
(fee payment voucher) for payment of the application fee. The cash voucher is in duplicate.
ii) Candidates are required to go to any Branch of State Bank of India and pay the amount of prescribed fees (fee details see para 7 ) and postage and get the receipt .
iii) Application fees to be paid between 18-05-2011 to 07-06-2011.
iv) Obtain the duplicate copy of the cash voucher duly receipted by the branch and ensure that this cash receipt contains
i) Journal number (7-10 digits) ii) Branch Name
iii) Branch code No. iv) Date of deposit v) Amount
This fee receipt needs to be produced at the time of written examination
Before applying online candidates are required to have a scanned (digital)
image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given
below. Candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of his/her photograph along with a scanned copy of signature in the online application.

State Bank Of India Published the Notification Of Bank PO Examination For the Recruitment of Probationary Officers. And to apply for this examination, you have to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized colleges.

I want to ask after this exam(24 july) next exam when going to held of SBI?

I hav fill up my online application for sbi po exam but i lost my cash voucher challan which is required at the time of examination. What shall i do? will i be able to give exam with admit card only?? pls help.

To give the SBI PO Examination you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. Even if its a professional course like CA,ICWA,CS and MBA/PGDBM then also you will be considered eligible.

It is essential to have proficiency in Computers and certificates proving that you have completed training from a reputed institution. It will do if you have studied Computer science at 10+2 level or at college level. Then you dont need to do any crash course.

The minimum age limit for giving this examination is 21 years and for general category candidates the upper age limit is 30 years. There is upper age limit relaxation for the reserved category candidates as follows:-

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• Physically Disabled Candidates: 10 years

The selection procedure of SBI PO Exam can be divided into two phases. The first phase is the Written exam which consists of both Objective Test and Descriptive Test. Second one is the Group Discussion round and interview session. There is marks for experience as well.

Subject Areas which needs special mention are as follows:-

-Reasoning
-Quantitative Aptitude
-General English
-General Awareness
-Descriptive Paper (English Language Ability Test)

Application Procedure:-

• Fill up the online registration form.
  
• You will get a unique registration number and password.
  
• Then you need to pay the amount of Rs.200 by generating a challan.
  
• The amount can be paid online through Master Card/ Debit Card/Credit Card. If you pay online then you will get an e-receipt. Print that and keep that with you for future reference.
