Chances of admission in Sainik School for a candidate whose guardian does not belong to Defence Services?
Dear Sir,
I am looking admission for my son in Sainik School in Purulia. I am not in a Defence so in this case my son has a chance of admission in Sainik School? |

Admission in Sainik schools is based on merit through entrance exam conducted by the school itself. Hence, if your son can perform well in the exam, then surely he can get admission.
There are seats reserved for defense wards but there are many seats available for you. So, just be prepared for the exam. |
