I want to know about the difference between B.Pharmacy and Pharmacy course and whether Maths is compulsory in 12th standard or not. Also, which examination should I appear to get admission in the course and what is the duration of the course?

B.Pharm stands for Bachelor's of Pharmacy, it is a graduation course which lasts for 4 years. For doing B.Pharm a student should complete 12th with PCM or PCB. To tell maths may or may be necessary to do B.Pharm because even PCB candidates can do B.Pharm.

To do B.Pharm
1. A candidate must complete 12th with PCM or PCB.
2. A candidate must have atleast 55% marks in 12th to get admission in colleges.
3. Admission for B.Pharm will be given based on the merit of the entrance exam conducted by state / central government like EAMCET, AIEEE, IIT-JEE, JIPMER, AIIMS etc.
