IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service and it is one of the most prestigious jobs in India. To become IAS Officer, you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline and must have apply for UPSC Civil services examination.

This examination is conducted every year in 2 stages, preliminary examination and Main examination. But you have to cracked the preliminary examination first, only then you are eligible for Main examination.

To apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course and your age should between 21 to 30 years. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination. The notification published in the month of February every year. So, please wait for the notification and then apply online.

IAS Officer Salary:

## IAS Officer salary is vary from post to post, For Junior Post you will get salary around Rs 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs 5400.

## For Senior Post you will get salary around Rs 15,600-39,100 and a grade pay of Rs 6600.

## For Junior Administrative Grade, You will get Pay scale of Rs 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs 7,600.
