I have recently appeared WBBSE class X exam. I want to study science stream and later I want to become IAS officer.. Please help me what should I do.

The salary of an IAS officer varies based on the scale, state and experience.

The salary for the various scales are given below:

- Junior Scale:
For this scale the salary will vary around INR 50 K - 1.5 L with Grade Pay of 16 K.

- Senior Time Scale:
For this scale the salary will vary around INR 50 K - 1.5 L with grade pay of 20 K

- Junior Administrative Grade:
The salary will vary around INR 50 K - 1.6 L with grade pay of 20 K.

- Selection Grade:
The salary will vary around INR 1 L - 2L with grade pay of 26 K.

- Super Time Scale:
The salary given to this grade will vary around INR 1 L - 2 L with grade pay of 30 K.

- Apex Scale:
The salary will be fixed to this scale candidates i.e., 12 L.

- Cabinet Secretary Grade:
The salary is fixed and that will be 13 L.
