Since you have registered for the Common Proficiency Test in 2010, the period of registration expires in June 2013 . So, you can definitely take the Common Proficiency Test which will be held in December 2012.

Once you have registered for the Common Proficiency Test , you can take the test up to three years. Registration period expires, usually within three years and after that you should re-validate your registration which can be done by paying a minimal fee.

There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. Educational Qualification: Candidates have to pass their Intermediate (10+2 Standard). Marks Required: The candidates who have completed a bachelor or masters degree in commerce with a percentile of 55% marks were exempted or excused from appearing in CA CPT.
The above are the criteria for year 2020.
