Am I eligible for Group 1 exams if did Masters from UK?


I got b.tech in electronics with 65% and masters degree with merit. now I want to achieve my goal that is group 1. I am 22 years old now, can i eligible for group 1 exam?

Yes, you are eligible for Group-I exams. As per rules, any candidate who has completed his/her graduation in any stream can apply for Group-I exams.

Exam Pattern:-
Group-I Exam is conducted in three stages
1) Preliminary Examination (Objective paper)
2) Main’s Examination (Conventional Type)
3) Interview
You will be eligible for interview, only if you can clear Preliminary and Main Exam.

Age Limit:-
Maximum age limit is 28 years for Non-Gazetted posts and 26 years for Gazetted posts.
And age relaxation is provided for the following candidates.
*SC, ST, BC - 5 years
*Physically Handicapped - 10 years
*State Government Employees - 5 years
*Ex-Service Men - 3 years

Yes you are eligible for Group I exam

Eligibility Criteria :-------------

Candidate must have passed Graduation from any recognized University.

Age limit: Candidates Age cannot cross 30 should not below 18

Age Relaxation will be available as per govt. rules

Selection of Mode:

Preliminary Examination
Main's Examination
Personal Interview
