Am i eligible for group I and II exam?

I hve studid BA throgh distance may i eligible for Group 1 and 2 exams????????????????????

Dear aspirant

Yes you are eligible for the groups from 1 to 4.

All they need is a Graduate so you are eligible for it.

More over any one who completed degree with passing marks are also eligible.

So you dont worry about the eligibility criteria.

Get good coaching so that you can get good rank.

Only correct planning can get you good results.

Yes,you will be eligible to apply for Group I and II exam if you have completed your Graduation in English.As you have studied through distance mode then in this case,your Bachelor degree should be approved from the Distance Educational Council of India.The list of Post for which you can apply through this exam are :-
  • Deputy Collectors.
  • Commercial Tax Officers.
  • Divisional Fire Officers.
  • District Employment Officers.
  • Assistant Registrar Officer.
  • Deputy Treasury Officer.
Qualification required for Group I and II Exam :-
  • Candidates must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Candidates minimum educational qualification should be Bachelor degree pass out in nay discipline from recognized university.
Age Requirement :-

  • Group I - Candidates minimum age should be 21 years and should not be above 34 years.
  • Group II - Candidates minimum age should be 18 years and should not be above 28 years.
Exam Pattern for Group I and II Exam :-
  • Preliminary Exam (Objective Type).
  • Mains Exam (Conventional Type).
  • Interview Test.
Preliminary Exam details :- Total marks 150 and Total Time 150 minutes.
  • General Studies - 75 Questions.
  • Mental Ability - 75 Questions.
Mains Exam details :- Total time duration 3 hours and Total Marks 750.
  • Paper I - General Essay - 150 Questions.
  • Paper II - General Overview of Constitution,Social History and Cultural Heritage of Indian - 150 Questions.
  • Paper III - Indian Economy,Land Reforms and Planning in India - 150 Questions.
  • Paper IV - Role and Impact of science and Technology,Development and Environmental problems - 150 Questions.
  • Paper V - Data Appreciation and Interpretation - 150 Questions.
