Does Analogies is available in Verbal section of GRE?
Hello everyone,
I have downloaded GRE sample papers from your site. I was bit surprised to see that there were Analogies present in the Verbal papers. Do they rally come in the GRE Verbal Exam? Please let me know about this. Thanks in advance. |

No, there will be no Analogies in GRE exam. Before 2011, there used to some questions on Analogies, but after 2011 the exam pattern has changed and now there are no questions, which are related to Analogies. At present the exam pattern is as follows.
GRE Exam Pattern:- The GRE exam is conducted in three sections Section I:- 1) Verbal Reasoning i) Reading Comprehension ii) Text Completion iii) Sentence Equivalence Section II:- 1) Quantitative Reasoning Section III:- 1) Analytical Writing Assessment i) Issue-Task essay ii )Argument-Task essays |
