No, appearing in GRE examination is not mandatory for pursuing higher studies in Abroad. You can also pursue your higher studies without appearing in GRE examination. Whether to appear in GRE examination or not depends upon various factors like selection of the course you wish to pursue in Abroad, selection of country and university where you wish to pursue your higher studies in Abroad. But, it is mandatory to appear in TOEFL/IELTS examination to prove your English Language Proficiency skills in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sections to get admission in Abroad universities for pursuing your higher studies.

No, it is mandatory to complete GRE exam to pursue your higher studies in Aboard. That's because there are some universities, which offering admissions only by considering IELTS or TOEFL scores of the applicants. So, you can apply for admission at any of those universities by completing IELTS or TOEFL exam. So, first try to complete IELTS/TOEFL exams. After completing IELTS/TOEFL exam, you can apply for admission by sending your application and test scores to the university through courier or through online

If your planning for your Abroad Education in USA then GRE is Mandatory .

There are some universities in USA which doesn't require GRE but the are not the best or Good Universities to do your Higher Education.

GRE is not Mandatory for Countries like UK, Australia, Canada etc..

For all most all the Countries Except USA IELTS is Accepted.

IELTS Stands for International English Language Testing System.

Only Candidates above 16th years of Age are Recommended to appear for the exam.

This exam is conducted to test your English Proficiency.

IF you score Good Band in IELTS then you can get seat in Top universities.

IELTS Scoring will be given in Bands.

Most of the Universities Abroad Require a Minimum of 6 Band(Min 5.5 in all).

So decide your self and plan according to your interest and subject.
