Which exams should i write for MS(E&C) in abroad and also best universities?

Pursuing studies abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a Degree from abroad are :-

1. Getting a better quality of education
2. Better career opportunities
3. Broaden International experience
4. Gaining exposure to different cultures.

* In order to pursue masters degree from universities abroad you need to have relevant U.G degree from a recognized university with academic record in graduation.

* TESTS TO TAKE :

1. Graduate record examination (GRE)
2. TOEFL or IELTS

US is one of the finest study destination to pursue maters degree in E&C and related fields.

To do MS in Abroad, you need to appear in GRE and TOEFL/ IELTS examination. Appearing in GRE examination is not mandatory to do MS in Abroad. But, some foreign universities in countries like US require GRE score, so, if you are apply for such type of universities, you need to appear in GRE examination. TOEFL/ IELTS is a standardised test which helps you to prove your English Language Proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing sections. By scoring good marks in these examinations, you can get admission in MS course in Abroad.

To do MS in Aboard, you have to complete two exams called GRE and TOEFL or IELTS. Most of the universities offers admission by considering these test scores of the candidates. After completing these exams, you should apply for admission in universities, by sending your application form along with your test scores. Then the universities will send you an admission letter, if your academic profile satisfies university admission criteria.

GRE Exam Pattern:-
The GRE exam is conducted in three sections
Section I:-
1) Verbal Reasoning
i) Reading Comprehension
ii) Text Completion
iii) Sentence Equivalence

Section II:-
1) Quantitative Reasoning

Section III:-
1) Analytical Writing Assessment
i) Issue-Task essay
ii )Argument-Task essays

TOEFL:-
TOEFL stands for Test Of English as Foreign Language. This exam will be based on the following sections
Exam pattern(120 marks)
Reading - 30 marks
Writing - 30 marks
Listening - 30 marks
Speaking - 30 marks
This exam is used to test the ability of a candidate in English language.

IELTS Exam Pattern:-
This exam consists of following sections
1)Listening - 30 minutes(4 sections, 40 items)
2)Reading - 60 minutes (3 sections, 40 items)
3)Writing - 60 minutes(2 tasks)
4)Speaking - 11-14 minutes
IELTS exam score will be calculated in 10 bands.

The exam that you are need to write to do MS in Abroad:

- GRE
- TOEFL or IELTS

Those candidates who have qualified in above entrance exam can apply for M.S course in the universities like, MIT, USA or Stanford, USA etc.

Procedure you need to follow:-

1) The applicant must have qualify in the entrance exams like, GRE, TOEFL or IELTS.

2) Apply in 5-6 universities online as per your score in the entrance exams.

3) Select one among them when they select you for admission.

4) Get the confirmation of admission from the concerned institute and apply for VISA at the US consulate.

5) Clear the VISA interview and other norms to get student visa.

GRE and IELTS/TOFEL are the Entrance exams you need to write to do your ms in Abroad.

If your planning for your MS in US then GRE is Mandatory where as for Countries like Canada, Australia only IELTS Score is Required.

GRE exam consists of quantitative ,verbal reasoning and analytic writing section.

You need to score more than 320 to get admission in top universities with Scholarships.

Where as IELTS/TOEFL are English Proficiency tests which will show how good you are at English.

Some Universities Provide Scholarships for candidates who score more than 7 Band in IELTS.

IELTS is Accepted all over the world where as TOEFL is not Accepted in some of the countries so its better to wrote IELTS.

To do your MS in Australia you need to have IELTS Band Above or equal to 7 Band.

So plan accordingly , prepare well and crack the Entrance exams so that you will be eligible to do your Masters from Abroad.
