There are various options of higher studies after B.Tech course. For instance, you can go for higher studies in the technical field or you can go for higher studies in the management field. In order to pursue higher studies after B.tech in foreign countries, you need to do the following.

- Prepare a good resume which can be done by participating in various extra curricular activities and keeping a good academic background.
- Training, certifications and work experience holding candidates are always given preference.
- You need to appear in the entrance exams based on which foreign universities take admission - GRE for MS, GMAT for MBA, etc. as well as appear in any one of the english proficiency tests - IELTS or TOEFL. Aim at scoring well in these exams.
- Then you need to apply in the universities online as per your scores in the entrance exams and that too with a strong statement of purpose.

If you are interested to pursue your higher studies in abroad, after completion of B.Tech course, you need to appear for examinations like GRE, TOEFL, etc. to get admission in foreign universities. GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination, it is the basic requirement for candidates who wish to get admission in MS course in foreign countries like US, Germany, etc. TOEFL or IELTS are the examinations which helps you to prove your English Language Proficiency for getting admission in foreign universities. Based on your GRE and TOEFL or IELTS examination score, you can get admission in foreign universities for pursuing your higher studies. The validity of GRE score is 5 years and the validity of IELTS score is 2 years.
