Government First Grade College located in the city of Vijayanagara in Karnataka came into existence in the year 1985 and the college was established with the objective of offering quality higher education to the youth belonging to the southern part of the city of Bangalore. The college is offering different courses with affiliation from the Bangalore University and the Government of Karnataka is running the college.

How to apply to the college:

Candidates can obtain the application form from the campus of the college and the form should be filled and registered at the office of the college. Candidates should submit the application along with mark card as soon the results of the higher secondary examination are declared.

Admission rules:

The admission committee of the college will process the applications submitted by the students and will set the dates of interview and admission. Selection of students for different courses will be done based on the rules issued by the Government of Karnataka. Roster system will be strictly followed in the admission process and the candidates will have to submit the original of their SSLC mark sheet at the time of interview. Candidates invited for interview, should be accompanied by their parent or guardian.
