The basic educational qualification required for finding jobs in the field of Dentistry is that candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Dental Sciences called as BDS and this course is offered by many government and private colleges in India for students who have completed their higher secondary in science stream of education. The master of dental surgery course is the PG course in this discipline and this course is offered in different specialties like conservative dentistry, dentofacial & orthodontics, oral & maxilla facial, preventive dentistry, etc…


Government jobs in the field of dentistry, offer a pay scale of minimum Rs.5000 on monthly pay basis for fresh graduates and it will be more than Rs.3500 for sure. When it comes to candidates with experience, they can expect a pay scale of more than Rs.7000 in government organizations.
