Management II is a subject in the fifth semester of the civil engineering degree course of Gujarat Technological University.

Importance of the Paper:

Management studies are an essential subject for all engineers. When they get to work in real time companies, they should know how the company works. This can be understood only by studying management studies. This is the reason why this subject is taught in some form or the other in all the universities offering engineering education.

Paper Pattern:

The question paper of Management Studies has five questions, all of which are compulsory. The subject code is 150001. Though all the questions are to be attempted, there are internal choices in the question paper. The first question has no choice, but there are choices in the next four sections. The questions are divided in sub questions, two in number.

Students should cover each and every topic for scoring good marks in the paper. The main topics include production and production management, market research, packaging, demand forecasting, financial management, human resource management, among others.

Time and marks:

The paper of Management II carries 70 marks in total, and the time duration is two hours and a half. All the questions are of equal marks, each carrying 14 marks. The fourteen marks of each question are divided equally into two sub questions.
