The University of Gujarat offers the course of PGDCA or Post Graduate course in Computer Application. This is a two year course and the entire structure is formatted in such a way, so that the course is at par with modern know-how of the system.  In the same way, 2nd Semester Paper of PGDCA offers the same. The following papers hold importance in their own way!

•    Database Management Systems
•    Computer Oriented Numerical Methods
•    Client Server Architecture and Interfaces
•    Object Oriented Concepts and Programming
•    System Analysis & Design

Each of the papers carries a maximum of fifty marks, and has three hours duration, for the theory part. The paper has two sections, namely Section I and Section II. Each of the two sections carries a maximum of twenty-five marks. The First section has three main questions, out of which the first is compulsory and carries nine marks. It’s a Long answer based question.

The second main question contains two different sub-questions in pairs. Candidates have to attempt any one. Each of the sub-question carries a maximum of eight marks. The third main question is divided in three different parts, and candidates have to attempt any two. Each of the sub-questions carries four marks. The Section II carries three main questions. This section carries the same question pattern as the first section. Candidates are advised to practice previous years based question.
