Profile:

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission was established by the Government of India under the Articles of Constitution of India. The major idead behind the establishment of the commission was to make direct recruitment to state, subordinate and ministerial positions. The another major function of the commission is to make recruitment on the government posts through the conduct of the written competitive examinations.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Hostel Superintendent-cum-Physical Training Officer in Chennai through Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age as on 1 July 2010.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done Diploma in Physical Education from any recognized institute or university by University Grants Commission.

No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

Selection Process:

A personal interview test is the final selection criteria set for the above specified post in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
