State Bank of India or SBI is one among the nationalized bank of India. They conduct the Probationary Officer exams for recruitment of staffs as Bank PO. All eligible aspirants of India can apply for the post of Bank PO. Applications are usually accepted through online mode. Candidates have to enter the bank’s official website to fill up the application forms. The selection process for the Bank PO post is through a written examination. Successful candidates who are short-listed after the exam will be called up for an interview, from which the final decision is made.

Instructions to be followed for filling in form

• The first step in the application process is the fee payment. For this, the candidates have to download the Cash Voucher from Bank’s website www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com.
• After filling the cash voucher, candidates can pay the prescribed application fee in any branch of State Bank of India and get the receipt.
• The candidates can’t paste their photograph or put sign in the application form as it is submitted online. They have to scan both and upload before they start filling up the application. The photograph and signature should be within the required specifications mentioned.
• Candidates can open the Online Application Form by visiting Bank’s official website.
• Each candidate should have an Email address. Bank can inform the SBI Bank PO Exam details as well as SBI Bank PO Interview advices via E-mail.
• Candidate has to fill the application form with care. Details of the qualifying exam, personals details, fee payment details etc where included in the application form.
• After successful completion of the SBI Bank PO Exam Application Form, candidates have to submit the SBI Bank Probationary Officers Application online.
• Within seconds of online application submission, a registration id and password will be generated. The registration number and password should be kept in notice for future reference.
• After completion of online submission, the system generates a copy of the submitted application. The candidates have to take a printout of this for future references.
• There is no need to send the printout of the State Bank of India Exam   Application Form to the Bank.
• At the time of SBI Bank PO Written Test candidate has to submit the original fee receipt along with the SBI Bank PO Exam call letter.
• Those candidates who fail to reproduce the original cash receipt along with the call letter at the time of SBI Bank Probationary Officer Written Test will not be allowed to appear for the Written Test.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form

• The scanned face in the photograph or signature has to be clearly visible. Otherwise, there is a chance for the candidate’s application to get rejected.
• If the candidate’s photograph or signature is not clearly identifiable or if it is not up to the specifications mentioned, the candidate has to edit the application and reload the photograph or signature.
• The candidates have to keep a copy of the print out of the Application printout and Fee Receipt for future reference.
• Government servants as well as semi government employees have to summit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of SBI Bank PO Interview. If they fail to do so, they may not be considered for the interview.
• The reserved category candidates such as SC/ST or OBC will have to produce his / her original caste certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority at the time of interview.

Last date for receipt of applications

The last date of the fee payment, last date of receipt of application, the date of exam will be mentioned in the official website of the SBI.

Acknowledgement of exam application form

After successful submission of online application, the candidates will receive a confirmation mail from SBI. This confirmation mail will include the candidate’s registration id and password that has to be kept in notice for future references.
