Msc pathology is gaining importance nowadays due to its wide application in the agricultural sector. There are numerous universities that offer post graduate degree in pathology. Those who wish to join Msc pathology need to prepare well for getting admission in foreign universities. The cost incurred to do the course in Canada USA, Australia and UK is relatively high as compared to other places. So the financial background of the candidate needs to be sound to meet the cost.

There are various entrance exams though which the foreign universities admit students. The students should attain a minimum score in these exams .The most common entrance exams through which the students get admitted in foreign universities are TOEFL and IELTS.

Application Procedure for doing Masters in Plant Pathology

Those candidates who wish to join the course can down load and submit their application through on line. They need to pay a prescribed amount as fee through credit card or by money order and that amount will not be refunded. They should submit the Graduate Examination score along with the application. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores is also needed for students whose parent language is not English. Students from foreign countries need to apply three month prior to the course.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for Master in Plant Pathology

The basic qualification needed for a student appearing for course should be a degree in Bsc or equivalent with science subjects as optional. The candidate need to score at least 70% as their grade point average (GPA) and should have good command over English, both in speech and writing .The candidate should know the basics of computer as well.

Exam Qualification Criteria for admission to Masters in Plant Pathology

The Graduate Record test combines both aptitude and quantitative level questions. The candidate need to score a minimum of 400 for individual subjects and the total score should be more than 1000.For candidates whose parent language is not English should prove their language skills in TOEFL.  There will be separate cut off marks for writing computer based and internet based TOEFL. The cut off score will vary depending on the institution, country and courses the student seek admission. Based on International English Language Testing System score, students can get admission in UK.
