HP CPMT MBBS/BDS 2010
Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test is an entrance test for admission to bachelor medical and dental courses MBBS and BDS in the medical and dental institutes of Himachal Pradesh University. HP CPMT is conducted by Himachal pradesh University for admission in both private and Government institutes for Himachal Pradesh as well as All India candidates.
There are 5 medical and dental institutes in Himachal Pradesh in which admission is through HP CPMT. Of these two of the institutes provide MBBS:Indira Gandhi Medical College and Dr. RP Medical College. There are three institutes which provide BDS:Himachal Dental College, H.P. Government Dental College and MN DAV Dental College.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 50% aggregate marks in PCB(40% for SC/ST/OBC). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply. Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years but not more than 25 years as on 31st December, 2010.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms for HP CPMT are expected to be available by April from Himachal Pradesh University Counter. The form can also be obtained by post from HP UNIVERSITY by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.
Important Dates(Tentative):
Date of Entrance Examination:May 4th week, 2010
Availability of Application Forms: April 1st week-April End, 20010
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms:April End, 2010
Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.
Pattern of Examination:
HP CPMT paper will consist of objective questions from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

2. Any provision for NRI, as my another daughter will be
clearing her 12th 2011 and what is the eligibility
structure and what will be the entrance fees and hostel
fees too, which month form will be issued or you wants
us to book in advance with down payment.
