HP CPMT MBBS/BDS 2010
Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test is an entrance test for admission to bachelor’s degree medical and dental courses MBBS and BDS in the medical and dental institutes of Himachal Pradesh. HP CPMT is conducted by Himachal Pradesh University for admission in both private and Government institutes for Himachal Pradesh as well as All India candidates.
There are 5 medical and dental institutes in Himachal Pradesh in which admission is through HP CPMT. Of these two of the institutes that provide MBBS are Indira Gandhi Medical College and Dr. RP Medical College. There are three institutes which provide BDS Himachal Dental College, H.P. Government Dental College and MN DAV Dental College. This is one of the pioneer institutes in India. It provides the dual specialization along with the foreign trip and training session.
The institute has its own place in the field of providing various Graduate and Master Degrees in this field. It has a pool of highly qualified and well experienced faculty members who are excellent in academics and have functional specialism. The institute also arranges the classes of the top most world class doctors as a guest faculty. They share their experiences and boost up the confidence of the students with their innovative and research based ideas.
The institute has provided sate of art library facility. The library of the institute is well stocked and digital and provides online reading facility to its students. The laboratory of the institute is well equipped with the modern equipments. It is located in the heart of the city and is having world class infrastructure. The campus of the institute is well decorated and managed under the guideline of its Managing Director.

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 50% aggregate marks in PCB(40% for SC/ST/OBC). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply. Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years but not more than 25 years as on 31st December, 2010.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms for HP CPMT are expected to be available by April from Himachal Pradesh University Counter. The form can also be obtained by post from HP UNIVERSITY by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.

Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 30th April, 2010
Pattern of Examination:
HP CPMT paper will consist of objective questions from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

guys,although hp domicile quota 50%helps for hpcpmt but don’t loose heart seats are increased and the mbbs fees is less.

frnds,hpcpmt forms are out.so much competition every year.last year some cbi exquiry was made on one local institute.medical seats are increased.50% seats for all india quota.anybody can appear.
A highly reputed govt. Institute and the fees is sponsored by govt.so very less fees.to clear the exam very high merit is required.so go for it.best of luck.
