Structure of ICFAI TECH – ATIT

The admission on the B.Tech courses in ICFAI TECH is done through the Admission Test for ICFAI University Technology (ATIT) exam. The ATIT exam questions are of multiple choice formats. The time allotted for the exam is three hours and it covers questions to evaluate the candidates’ knowledge in the subjects of mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English. Four alternatives are given for each question and the candidates have to choose the right answer and it should be marked in the OMR sheet. The candidates who qualify the test are only eligible for getting admission for getting admission in the ICFAI institute.

The selection of the candidates is based on the marks scored in ATIT exam and their marks in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have secured 60% marks in Higher Secondary Examination with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics can apply for the Admission Test. The students who have completed their plus two with 75% marks need not attend the admission test. Direct admission is provided for those candidates. The students who have marks between 60% and 70% can get admission on the basis of their scores in JEE/BITSAT/AIEEE and state level entrance tests. The candidate should be at least 17 years old at the time of admission. The final year students can also apply for the test.

How to Apply?

The candidates can get the application form directly from the Admissions Office at ICFAI University by the payment of Rs.600/-. The applicants have the option to submit the online application form at the website www.iudehradun.edu.in. Those candidates have to fill the online application form and the fee payment is done through credit cards or debit cards. The candidates can use the downloaded application form from the website and forward the filled up form to the concerned address accompanying with a demand draft of Rs.600/-. The application material and information bulletin will be sent by post.

How to fill the Form?

The instructions for filling the application form are mentioned in the information bulletin. The applicants must read and understand all that instructions prior to filling up the form. It helps them to avoid mistakes. Any mistakes occur at the time of form filling leads to the cancellation of the application form. The online applicants should fix their scanned colour photograph with the application form. All candidates should mention their email address correctly. All further communication will be done through email. The offline applicants should send all relevant documents along with the application form. The candidates must ensure that the application form will reach the office before the last date. The application form received after the due date will be cancelled.

Score Validity

The exam score is valid for one year. After that period exam notification for the next year is released.
