Electrical Engineering paper is the study of Electrical instruments and connections which are the basic part of the course. There are lots of laws and principles which are taught in the paper, students get to know the terms.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Candidates applying for the paper must have a pass certificate of Senior Secondary or equivalent from a recognised board or university. Students of Science background are only eligible for the paper. Students who are waiting for their results can also apply if they will get their passing certificate before the admission procedure.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Each question in the paper has its own marking and as the paper is a subjective paper, it doesn’t have negative system scheme.

Mode of Exam:

Paper of Electrical Engineering is a conventional paper and it contains subjective type of questions, each question has its own marking system.

Format:

Paper is needed to be answered in the answer sheet provided; students should give question no. before writing their answer. Each question is of descriptive type.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of Electrical Engineering consists of 11 questions in it. The questions asked in the paper are kept in 3 sections. Section A is of 1 question and it is a compulsory question. Section B is of 5 questions and only3 from it are to be solved. Section C is of 5 questions and only 3 from it are needed to be solved. Each question in these 2 groups is of long answer type.

Marking:

Group A is of 16 marks and rest 2 groups are of questions which are of 14 marks each.

Schedule:

Paper is to be solved within 3 hours only.
