Indian Forest Services exam is one of the toughest exams of India as Civil Services Exams are conducted to select the most qualified persons for the different posts. Candidates have to really work very hard in order to get through this exam. After the students have successfully cleared the written test, they have to appear for an Interview where actual testing of the selected candidates is done. Two subjects, General English and General Knowledge, are compulsory for every candidate. In addition to this they have to appear for 2 optional subjects each having two papers.

IFS Agriculture paper II is of 200 marks and of 3 hours duration. It is also divided into two sections, each section having 4 questions of 400 marks each. Out of 8 questions question 1 and question 5 are compulsory. Candidates have to attempt these two questions and 3 other questions by selecting atleast one question from section A and one from section B and last question from any of the sections. In total a candidates has to answer 5 questions out of 8. Questions are to be answered in English and no special privilege to write in any other language other than English would be given to any of the candidates.
