Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is undoubtedly one of the best management institutes in the country. IIFT is one of the most sought after institutes among the students aspiring for MBA and has reached the level of other prestigious business schools since it was setup.

Eligibility criteria:

1. The candidate who has done atleast three years of bachelor’s course can apply for IIFT.
2. The candidates who will appear in the final year examination can also apply for IIFT but they need to submit a written evidence of the fact that they will complete their graduation examinations latest by 7th October 2009.
3. Candidates belonging to any age can apply for IIFT.

Important dates:

1. 20-08-08 – deadline for sale of prospectus and the application form through post.
2. 03-09-08 – last for getting the application forms from IIFT counter.
3. 03-09-08 – last for submitting your applications to IIFT by hand.
4. 23-10-08 – date of examination and the timings are 10:00am to 12:00 noon.

Examination pattern:

* The test has objective type questions with multiple choices to them.
* This 2 hour test will judge the student on the following parameters:
1. English Comprehension.
2. Logical Reasoning.
3. Quantitative Analysis.
4. General Knowledge & Awareness.

Admission process:

1. The General/SC/ST/PH/OBC category students will be selected on the basis of the Written Test, GD and PI.
2. Students belonging to Foreign/NRI/Children of NRI category will be selected on the basis of GMAT scores.
