Indira School of Business Studies 2010 MBA




Indira School of Business Studies(ISBS) conducts an admission process for admission to its Post Graduate Diploma in Management programmes. ISBS was established in the year 2000 by Shree Chanakya Education Society. ISBS has been approved by AICTE and provides Two year Full Time Management courses to the candidates.The institute has a good placement record and infrastructure.

Candidates are shortlisted for Post Graduate Management programs of ISBS on the basis of their CAT/XAT/MAH-CET or ISBS Common Entrance Examination conducted by ISBS for those who do not have any of the other scores.  The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process  consisting of a Essay Writing, Personal Interview & Group Discussion.  Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in Written Test, Essay Writing, Interview, Group Discussion, Past Academic Performance and Work Experience.

Courses offered by the ISBS:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (120 seats)
• Post Graduate diploma in Management – Marketing (60 seats)

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have a 3 years bachelor degree  or equivalent from a recognised institutes with atleast 45% aggregate marks. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Availability of Application forms:

The forms for ISBS will be available from the institute and also through post by request. Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.indiraisbs.ac.in.

Important Dates(Tentative):

• ISBS Entrance Test (CEE): May 09th, 2010
• Commencement of sale of application form: January 12th, 2010
• Last date for submitting completed application form: April 20th, 2010

Selection process:

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/XAT/MAH-CET or ISBS-CEE scores. ISBS-CEE is a 1hour paper and consists of multiple choice questions from Verbal Ability, Mathematical ability, Analytical ability and General knowledge. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process  consisting of a Personal Interview/Group Discussion/Essay Writing. Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in Written Test, Interview, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Past Academic Performance etc. Weightage given to the various factors is as follows:

Written Test 100 marks
Essay Writing 50 marks
Group Discussion 50 marks
Personal Interview 50 marks
