This university will complete its four years in July 2010 and even though it’s not been a long time that Islamic University of Science & Technology, Pulwama came in to origin, and this university has got many credits for the level of education provided here. This university continuously is trying to get better and better with each passing day and is working towards its sole motto of providing excellent education to students by creating a healthy learning environment. This university is still in process of opening more schools. As of now, there are:

1. School of Technology: In this particular school of Islamic University of Science & Technology, Pulwama one can apply for under graduate course like Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Computer Science and Engineering, Bachelor of Technology – Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bachelor of Technology – Civil Engineering. Candidates who have cleared 10+2 from any government recognized board can apply for these under graduate courses. Mathematics is a compulsory subject to be eligible for these courses.

2. School of Business Studies: Here, one gets an opportunity to get enrolled in BBA and MBA. For BBA the eligibility is 10 + 2 from recognized board and for MBA the eligibility is graduation with valid MAT score.

It is imperative to note here, that even though it might seem to many that there are limited departments and schools as of now in this university, they are trying to provide the best of everything. All the facilities, education provided here in Islamic University of Science & Technology, Pulwama is quality assured as students who have been part of this university are all praises for it.
