Institute profile: National Institute of Technology most popularly known as NIT is a reputed institute for teaching in different technologies. It provides teaching, training and research facilities in a number of departments both at the graduate and post graduate level. Job profile: The junior engineers will be required to work in the civil and the electrical departments. They will be responsible for assisting their seniors, working on different projects, handling and operating R&D activities and also for executing departmental activities.

Eligibility: A candidate should be below the age of 35 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate should be a graduate with an engineering degree in civil or electrical branch with a minimum experience of 1 year or a diploma in any of the two branches with a minimum experience of 3 years. A candidate should have knowledge of preparation of estimates, tender documents, electrical work of buildings, maintenance of residential/educational campuses/govt. organizations etc.

Pay scale: The junior engineers will be given a pay scale of Rs9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs4200 plus other usual allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview. The selection will be based on the merit.
