Institute profile: Situated in Mohali (Chandigarh) this institute was established in the year 2007. It provides training and research in science and the allied areas. It has a variety of programmes at the undergraduate as well as at the post-graduate level. It has some advanced facilities and good infrastructure.  

Job profile: The junior research fellows will be required to carry the research and development work in the different areas of science. They will be required to perform experiments during their research work and also prepare reports. They will also be working on projects and they will have to support their seniors.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have an M.Sc degree in either Physics or Chemistry from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 on a scale of 10 or 60% throughout. A candidate must have cleared the NET. A candidate must also have a valid GATE score of minimum 75 percentile.

No. of posts: There are 2 posts in total.

Pay scale: A junior research fellow will be given Rs12000 per month plus HRA during the first and the second year and Rs14000 per month plus HRA during the third year.

Selection process: The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their education and the short listed candidates will be called for an interview. The selections will be based on merit.
