Educational requirement:
For seeking admission to the aforesaid courses, candidates will have to meet the following educational qualification requirements:
Bachelor of Education: For getting into this course offered by KIIT College of Education, candidates must have obtained their UG degree from a recognized university by securing not less than 50% of aggregate marks and obtaining at least 45% of marks separately in any two of the following school subject at the UG level:
• Sanskrit
• Integrated Science
• Hindi
• English
• Accountancy
• Business studies
• Home science
• Political science
• Mathematics
• History
• Geography
• Economics
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Biological sciences (life sciences, zoology, biochemistry and botany)

Candidates with PG degree in any of the subject listed above from a recognized university securing not less than 45% of aggregate marks and with minimum of 45% of marks in any other school subjects at the graduation level.
Bachelor of Elementary Education: Candidates must have completed their senior secondary certificate examination of the State Board/ICSE/Central Board or other equivalent examination with not less than 50% of aggregate marks.
Master of Education: Candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Education course from Maharishi Dayanand University securing not less than 50% of aggregate marks (pass for SC/ST Candidates). Even candidates with any other qualification as recognized by the affiliating university with not less than 50% of aggregate marks and minimum pass for UR and SC/ST candidates respectively are eligible to apply to M. Ed course offered by the KIIT College of Education. Admission of students to the Master of Education course will be done based on merit secured by candidates in the entrance examination conducted by the Maharishi Dayanand University.
Intake capacity of KIIT College of Education:
For B. Ed course, the admission capacity of KIIT College of Education is 100 students per year, while for B. El. Ed. Course and M. Ed courses conducted by the college, the intake capacity is 35 students per course per year.
