Lecturers, Haryana Public Service Commission
Haryana Public Service Commission is responsible for conducting examinations, holding interviews etc for the recruitment of employees in various state offices. It is also responsible for taking disciplinary action and can advise the govt. on methods of recruitment.
Job profile: The lecturers will have to teach and educate the students in various departments and they will also have to give them a good knowledge about the subject. They will be required to help them in their lab work and projects.
Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 21 years and 40 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a good academic record and a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% from a recognized university or an institute. A candidate must have passed the NET/SLET. A candidate with the PhD degree will be given the preference.
No. of posts: There are 475 posts in total which are distributed over all the departments. These posts also consist of reserved posts.
Pay scale: The lecturers will be given a pay scale of Rs8000-13500 plus other usual allowances as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will have to appear fro an interview. The selections will be purely on the basis of merit.
How to apply: To obtain the application forms the candidates have to write to the secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block B, Sector – 4, Panchkula. The candidates have to send a DD of Rs500 for GEN and Rs125 for SC/ST/PH in the favor of Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission payable at Panchkula. The candidates also have to send a self addressed envelope with a stamp of Rs40 and the copies of their certificates.
The last date for the receipt of applications is 27th November 2009.
