Profile:

The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology was established as a deemed university in Pune, India. Intially, it was established as the Institute of Armament Technology in the year 1952. But later it was renamed to defence Institute of Advanced Technology in the year 1967. The institute is accredited by the All India Council of Technical Education. The Institute was awarded with the status of a Deemed University in the year 2002. The institute runs several post graduate courses in different streams.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Assistant Librarian:
Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 40 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science or Information Science with at least 55 % of the marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Tradesman:
No. of posts: 12 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

3. Recruitment of Office Assistant:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

4. Recruitment of Driver Grade ‘A’:

Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation is required for the post.

5. Recruitment of Fireman:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation is required for the post.

6. Recruitment of Library Assistant:
