Company profile: Life Insurance Corporation of India is entrusted to spread life insurance widely and especially to rural areas and economically and socially backward classes. It focuses on maximizing people’s saving through insurance linked saving plans.

Job Description: A candidate will be required to sell different kinds of insurance policies like life insurance, property insurance etc. This job is in the north central region, Kanpur on contract basis for three years.

Qualification required: The candidate must be a graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma) from a recognized university preferably in marketing or management field.
The candidate must be well versed in English language. Knowledge of computers will be an added qualification.

No. of posts: A total of 42 posts are there out of which 25 are for General, 5 for SC/ST and 12 for OBC.

Age limit: A candidate must be between 21 to 35 years of age as on June 1, 2009.
Relaxation will be provided as per the norms.

Pay Package: A monthly salary of INR 10,000 will be given for the first year, INR 11,300 for the second year and INR 12,700 for the third year. Performance incentives are additional.

Selection procedure: A written test will be conducted on 02 August, 2009. The candidates clearing the written examination will be called for the interview.

Only General and OBC candidates are subjected to the payment of fee, there is no fee for SC/ST candidates.
