Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University is popularly known as Rajasthan Agricultural University and this university came into existence in the year 1987 as a separate entity. Before 1987, the university was acting as a part of the Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University is located in the city of Bikaner and the university is offering education through six of its constituent colleges. The university has divided its teaching activities among two of its campuses one at Bikaner and the other campus at Jaipur in Jobner.
Six of the constituent colleges belonging to the university offer education in different faculties like agriculture, home science and agribusiness management. Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University is permitted to offer instruction in the field of agriculture and its allied disciplines being agri-business management, home science, veterinary & animal sciences and horticulture.
