List of Courses in University of Kashmir, Srinagar
University of Kashmir was established in the year 1956 after the bifurcation of University of Jammu & Kashmir into two universities. Right from its inception, the university has been growing steadily and now it has become a multi-faculty university offering courses under different faculties like fine arts, music, engineering, dental surgery, medicine, law, commerce, education, social science, natural sciences, languages, arts and non-formal education. Totally eleven faculties of education are functioning under the university with each faculty having their own departments. In addition to the post graduate courses, some of the departments are also offering Ph. D and M. Phil courses. The university introduced directorate of distance education to offer courses through distance education in the year 1976.
