Lower Division Clerk - Eastern Naval Command
The Eastern Naval Command belongs to the Indian Navy, which is one of the major three formulations in the nation. The head office of Easter Naval Command is located in the city of Visakhapatnam. Eastern Naval Command acts are the submarine operating authority of the Indian Navy and it conducts operational sea training through three teams located in the cities of Mumbai, Vizag and Kochi.
Recruitment by Eastern Naval Command:
The Eastern Naval Command has called for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Lower Division Clerk and to explore more details regarding the notification issued in this regard, read on the content given below:
Name of the Vacancy: Lower Division Clerk
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 232, which is divided among the different categories as follows:
• SC – 36
• ST – 23
• OBC - 97
• UR – 76
Of these 232 vacancies, 08 positions are reserved for Orthopedically Handicapped candidates, 03 positions are reserved for Visually Handicapped candidates and 20 vacancies are reserved for Ex-servicemen.
Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Stenographer Grade III, will come under the pay brand of Rs.3050-4590.
Eligibility requirements:
Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Lower Division Clerk candidates must have completed their matriculation from a recognized board and they should possess a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Age: The minimum age limit to apply for the position of Lower Division Clerk is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years as on the 30th of November 2011.
Mode of selection:
Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will be called for written test followed by interview. Only, candidates getting through the written test will be called for interview.
