Stenographer Grade III - Eastern Naval Command
The Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy is one of the three major formations with its headquarters in the city of Visakhapatnam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. In addition, it also has based in the same city and in the city of Kolkata as well.

The Eastern Naval Command has called for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Stenographer Grade III and to explore more details regarding the notification issued in this regard, read on the content given below:
Name of the Vacancy: Stenographer Grade III
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 58, which is divided among the different categories as follows:
• SC – 06
• ST – 13
• UR – 39
Of these 58 vacancies, 6 positions are reserved for Orthopedically Handicapped candidates.
Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Stenographer Grade III, will come under the pay brand of Rs.4000-6000.
Eligibility requirements:
Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Stenographer Grade III, candidates must have completed their matriculation from a recognized board. They should also possess a short hand speed of 80 words per minute either in English or Hindi.
Age: The minimum age limit to apply for the position of Stenographer Grade III is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years as on the 30th of November 2011.
Mode of selection:
Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will be called for written test followed by interview. Only, candidates getting through the written test will be called for interview.
