Maharana Pratap Engineering College (MPEC) set up in the year 1999 was among the first private engineering colleges who got associated with the UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) and is counted as one of the best engineering institutes of the state. It is approved by AICTE. Till date there are 8 successful batches passed out of college.

Courses Offered

The college provides bachelors program in engineering in six different disciplines. They can be named as Electrical Engineering; Computer Science Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engineering; Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering and Information Technology. There are also MCA and MBA courses to offer.

Infrastructure

The MPEC has an expansive campus which spreads over 20 acres of land. The college is provided with all the modern day features. There is a well furnished library, hi tech labs and modernized classrooms.

Placement

The college’s placement cell grooms the student for working at the best of companies and has made great connections with the industry. The names of a few companies who are recent visitors to recruit are WIPRO, TCS, HP, Infosys, IBM and DATAMAN.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria

The admissions in the institute are done in the months of June, July and August. The admissions are done on merit basis and qualifying the SEE-UPTU entrance examination.

The minimum criteria for getting admitted are a minimum aggregate of 60% at HSC or equivalent level. For masters course you must secure at least 60% marks at graduate level.
