Forensic science is known to deal with a lot of branches of science and eventually uses all kinds and branches of science to prove a particular activity. Under this science various branches of science along with their applications and principles are applied. Under computer forensic, the scenario is a bit different.

Here the branch of science whose applications are used is computers. Hence, under the course of Master of Computer Forensic, the students are taught various ways in which various kinds of software available in the market can be utilized in probing the activity. Under this master’s level course, candidates are taught about the things in more detail and the candidates are benefited with the deep and detailed knowledge about the uses of computers in forensic science.

One needs to be a graduate and should posses a bachelor’s level degree in order to be eligible for the course of Master of Computer forensic. The bachelor’s level degree should be of a well recognised institute or university of India.

Course Outlook:

The course duration is not very certain, and keeps varying. Generally the duration of master of computer forensic is 2 years. These 2 years are further divided in to 2 parts of 1 year each. However there are few universities that offers this course in a smaller span of time.

Job Prospects:

There are plenty of jobs in this sector. One can work with police or in defence. One can also opt for research projects who recruit these degree holders.
