Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University is one of the biggest agricultural universities in Asia. It conducts full time post graduation programme in various disciplines having duration of 2 years. Admission to Master of Science in various disciplines is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying exam as well as the scores obtained by the candidate in the entrance test conducted by the University. Candidates are required to apply for the entrance exam in the prescribed application form along with relevant documents.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed graduation in Science subjects with at least 50% of aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the course. Candidates should fulfill all the selection criteria prescribed by the University at the time of admission. Final selection will be based on the composite score obtained in the entrance test by the candidate. Candidates belonging to reserved category can enjoy the relaxations in in cut off marks and age as per the government norms at the time of admission.

Admission Process

Eligible candidates can apply for the entrance test conducted by the University. Candidates can obtain the application cum prospectus form from the “Office of Registrar, Fletcher Bhawan, CCS HAU Hisar”. Besides, application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the University. Candidates are required to fill the OMR application form carefully, as mentioned in the prospectus, regarding the course they opt to study, examination centre etc. Fully filled application form along with supporting documents should be submitted to Deputy Registrar, Post Graduation Programmes of the University within the scheduled date. Shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam for the selection process.

Entrance exam will have objective type multiple choice questions. There will be 100 questions with maximum marks of 100. Duration of the exam is 2 hours. Questions will be asked from General Science, Mathematics and General English. Medium of instruction will be in English and Hindi. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Candidates are required to obtain at least 30% marks to qualify the entrance test. Candidates belonging to reserved category require 20% marks to qualify. Candidates will be shortlisted according to their scores in the entrance test. Final selection will be based on the medical examination and personal interview. Candidates are required to submit originals of supporting documents at the time of counseling.
