The degree of engineering in Bio-medical is in a good demand as the course is the demand of future and the course will be needed in future by the industries as the sector is yet to be developed.

What is taught in this paper?

The paper is the study of analog circuits which is of variable signal study, signal transfer, the encoding is different in analogue circuits and it is taught in this paper.

Importance of this subject:

The paper is an important paper and though digital signal are most widely used in present time but analogue circuits are encoded differently and are of a very different pattern. It is also about the conversion of digital signals to analog signals.

Paper Pattern:

The paper is a technical paper and the paper contains 7 questions in it and 5 from it are needed to be attempted. The question no. 1 is compulsory and rest 4 are to be chosen from remaining 6 questions. The question no. 1 is of 5 sub-questions and last question is of short notes, each question is divided into 2-3 sub-questions. Each question is of equal marks.

Frequently asked questions:

The paper contains questions such as Barkhuson’s criteria for sustained oscillations, swamping resistor, stable transcendence, cascade amplifier, circuit diagram of colpitts oscillator, negative feedback approach, LC & RC oscillator, Nyquist stability criteria, concept ground of OP-AMP, disadvantages of negative feedback etc.

Marks and time allotted:

A student can score a highest of 100 marks in the paper and time allotted is 3 hours only. Each question is of equal marks and each question is divided into 2-3 sub-questions.
