National Fire Service College (NFSC) All India Entrance Test 2012
National Fire Service College (NFSC) organizes entrance exam every year for the recruitment of eligible candidates to its Sub Officer’s Course offered. Only those clearing this national level test will be admitted to the institute.
Structure of National Fire Service College (NFSC) All India Entrance Test
National Fire Service College (NFSC) All India Entrance Test will be a written examination comprising of 2 sessions. Question paper will be printed bilingually (in Hindi & English) and the candidates can choose any one of the languages for answering. The questions will be of objective type and will be covering the 12th class level.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualifications required for the candidates to appear for the Sub Officer’s Course in NFSC is H.S.C or any other equivalent qualifications. Furthermore, the candidates must be capable to read, write, speak and understand the instructions, both in Hindi and English. The aspirants should also meet the below mentioned physical standards -
Male
- Height: Not less than165cms
- Weight: Not less than 50 kg
- Chest: Not less than 81cms unexpanded and up to 86cms expanded
- Vision: 6 / 6 no color blindness
Female
- Height: 157cms
- Weight: Not less than 46 kg
- Vision: 6 / 6 no color blindness
How to Apply?
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the institute http://nfscnagpur.nic.in. The completed applications in prescribed format have to be sent to The Director, NFSC Nagpur before the cut off date. The application fee of 100/- (Rs. 25/- in case of SC / ST candidates) has to be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order. The same should be drawn in favor of ‘The Director, NFSC Nagpur’, payable at GPO, Nagpur.
How to fill the Form?
Candidates are advised to refer the instructions given for filling each column in the application form. Based on these instructions, fill each and every column very cautiously. Use a black or blue dot pen to enter the data in the columns. The details have to be filled in English capital letters. Paste a latest passport size photo in the appropriate place provided. Furthermore, the candidates have to sign within the box made available for that. The IPO details have to be entered very clearly without committing any sort of errors. Candidates must also make sure that their photograph and signatures on the prescribed application forms are duly attested by the Principal / Head of Department / Special Executive Magistrate / Gazetted Officer. The completed applications along with requisite enclosures has to be addressed to the Director, National Fire Service College, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Palm Road, Civil Lines, Nagpur-44 00 01, Maharashtra so that it reaches before the cut of date.
