National Institute of Bank Management is located in Pune. The management course of NIBM, PGPBF, is a two year full time course. The course is so designed that it gives the students a rigorous, contemporary, practical and innovative knowledge of management. The students after the completion of the course render their valuable services to the financial system successfully. The students of NIBM are ready to meet the challenges of financial and banking sector because of their adequate training in the field.

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of admission to NIBM have to first sit for the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. Applicants are also required to indicate their intention that they are applying to non IIM Institutes at the time of registration for CAT. Separate registration to PGPBF is also required.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT will be eligible for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The centers for GD and PI are Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi. Final selection will be made on the basis of CAT score and the GD-PI score.

Successful candidates will be notified by the Institute. IIMs play no role in the admission process of NIBM.
