The National Eligibility Test (NET) Hindi paper like all the others is divided into paper II and paper III. Paper III is of 200 marks. The total time limit for the same is two and half hours. The total number questions expected to answer are 26. There is space given below each question to write the answer. No extra sheet will be provided to answer the questions.  All questions have different amount of marks awarded to them. They are mentioned alongside the question itself.

There are internal choices provided in most questions. The type of questions ranges from essay type to short answer questions. The number of words expected to be written for each answer is mentioned in each question itself. It is important to respect the word limit because the paper may turn out to be a lengthy one and it is important that you do no leave the paper incomplete. The Paper III of Hindi has no fixed syllabus. It is therefore important to refer to other papers and give number of mock exams before appearing for the final one. The paper is interesting to solve and deals with works of legendary poets and authors.
