The University grants commission of India is the highest governing body of the country that is conducts exams nationwide for selecting the candidates for various government posts for teaching across the country. The exam it conducts for it is known as the National Eligibility Test. Of the many courses that are offered, there are a significant number of regional languages that are taught as a part of the classroom program across the country. Thus these tests are conducted to test the candidates on the basis of their language skills.

Importance of the paper

India is the seven largest country in the world area wise and second largest country population wise. It is divided into different states on the basis of the language. Each of these states has their one official language. The official language of the state of Jammu and Kashmir is Kashmiri. The NET Kashmiri (Paper II) Papers is given to the candidates taking the exam for the teaching jobs available for Kashmiri language.

Format

The format is like entrance exams where questions are objective and multiple choice type.

Paper pattern and Markings

Questions have 4 options as A, B, C and D. The correct option is to be shaded in the OMR sheet against the question number. Like this there 50 questions are there. Equal weightage of 2 marks for every question makes this paper to be of 100 marks.
