NET Political Science (Paper II) Papers
The National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission. This test is to test the eligibility of the aspirants for lectureship. NET is held twice every year, in the months of June and December. The test is held for Social Sciences, Humanities and some science subjects. The test is also held for Political science, the pattern of paper II of which has been described in the following.
The paper II of political science consists of multiple choice type questions. There are four alternative answers to each question, out of which only one is correct. The most appropriate answer has to be marked on the OMR sheet provided. Each question carries 2 marks and the number of questions is 50. So the total marks of the paper are 100. There is no negative marking in the paper, so students should attempt all the questions. The time allotted for the exam is one hour and 15 minutes.
The questions are usually true/false type, assertion-reason type and matching type etc. Also questions can be based upon comprehension. A passage is given and some questions based on that passage have to be answered. The links to the previous papers of Political science are given below.
