Neurology is a subdivision of medicine that deals with the study of nervous system. Neurologists are experts handling various ailments and disorders of the brain and the central nervous system. They diagnose various deformities of these related parts and provide suitable treatments. To become a neurologist, an individual must have completed the various courses in neurology. These physicians provide treatments to degenerative brain disorders like trauma, stoke, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy and so on. There are abundant job opportunities for those who have completed the PG courses in neurology. They can seek for career in public as well as private undertakings. Qualifying Exam

To become a neurologist, an aspirant should do the DO and MD in neurology. Candidates should have done the course from a recognized medical college. Aspirants who have completed the 10+2 exam from Science disciplines are eligible to apply for the MBBS program.

Aspirants can rely up on any of the renowned publications as a part of preparation for the exam. The students should have comprehensive knowledge in the qualifying exam curriculum. They can also procure previous question papers for the exam from leading book stores. By solving these papers as a preliminary test, keeping a time line may help the aspirants to self evaluate their weaker portions.
